We need this to be a successful conference. We may not get another chance to form a national association that is made up of recovery and bail agents dedicated to protecting and advancing the profession.

Some people have said they will make the next one. If we don’t get enough people to St Louis, there may not be a next one!

The bottom line is, if you are a bail recovery agent, bounty hunter, bail fugitive agent, what ever the term you prefer to use, if you don’t step up and do something to protect your livelihood, it may just go away.

There is a national, coordinated effort to do away with private surety bail. It has been going on for decades and now has the support of the U.S. Dept of Justice, American Bar Association, U. S. District Attorneys and U.S. Judges. They all were at a June 2011 conference in New York planning ways to spread tax payer pretrial service through the country.

The point is if bail is restricted anymore or eliminated in more states, you will be out of work. Period!

So, you can get involved now or you can look for another job later. Your choice.
